BIBLE IN A YEAR: Psa 94-96
TASTING HEAVEN
MEMORIZE: "And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven :"( Acts 9:3)
READ: Acts 9:1-9
Have you been experiencing sorrow, pain, disgrace and disappointments? Have you questioned the love of Christ because of the circumstances you find yourself? Are you saying, If God does not intervene in my situation now, it may be too late? The Lord will give you a taste of Heaven. The bitterness of sorrow will soon be replaced with the joy of Heaven. Why? Hebrews 4:14-15 says our High Priest - the Lord Jesus Christ feels exactly what you feel. He is touched by what touches you. He is not like the ruler who forgets others when surrounded by comfort and affluence in the midst of millions living in squalor. He knows what it means to be in want. He knows how it feels to be rejected, oppressed, denied, hated by those you love and misunderstood. He was there. He will make a way for you. When you have a taste of Heaven, your personal prophecy comes to pass. When you have a taste of Heaven, you contact the Prophet all other prophets hear from. In addition, when you have a taste of Heaven by touching the High Priest, you will become a priest.
That means just as the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus and was healed, any sick fellow who touches you will be healed (Mark 16:17-18). If the sick cannot be healed under your ministry, it is doubtful if you have really touched the High Priest. If you have, it will show. You will become Heaven on earth. Wherever you go, you will bring Heaven into every unpleasant situation. If you are a bonafide Christian, this should be your testimony as signs and wonders will follow you like Paul (Acts 19:11-12).
If you have a taste of Heaven, you will have a new name. Saul had an encounter with Heaven on his way to Damascus, and his name changed to Paul. His hobby and passion also changed from persecuting the church to promoting it. His destiny changed. He was heading for hell, but started journeying to Heaven. His companions changed. His profession changed from Lawyer to Evangelist. He became the Apostle of apostles just from one taste of Heaven! You will have a bite from Heaven that will change your entire life this season. Every negative name problems have given you without your permission, shall be changed today in Jesus’ Name. That situation causing pain and sorrow in your life and family is terminated now. Heaven is coming into your situation. Praise God, love and serve Him faithfully.
ACTIONPOINT: Reject every negative report given to you in Jesus' Name. Ask God to give you a taste of Heaven in such areas today.
