BIBLE IN A YEAR: Lev 1-4
BECOMING RELEVANT
Memory Verse: "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool" (Psalms 110:1)
READ: Psalms 110:1-3
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: The LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalms 84:11).
Many of us claim the above scripture and expect to receive good things, forgetting to pay the ultimate price. What stands you out in Heaven is the price you paid. The price you pay for God’s Kingdom determines your heavenly rating. It also determines your heavenly receipts. If you cannot pay the price in prayer, you may never see the miraculous take place in your life. God’s special blessings are not for lazy ones. To become God’s prince, Jacob wrestled with God until he lost a leg. Whenever people saw him and asked what happened, he told them it was the price he had to pay. But for that price, the Israeli nation would have been called by another name- the name of whoever paid the price!
To become what they are in God’s Kingdom, many lost several valuable things. Peter abandoned his profession. Paul sacrificed his reputation and certificates on God’s altar. Some lost their freedom. Many lost their friends. Zacchaeus lost his wealth and possessions. Some lost their sleep and rest. Some lost their families. Yet today Christians want God to use them like the patriarchs of old without lifting a finger. If God obliges, there will be a protest march in Heaven. If you hope to get anointing by meeting an anointed man of God to lay hands, or just pray for the anointing to transfer to you, you are lazy. Such people may never go beyond average!
God will only hear those who follow Christ’s steps and pay the ultimate price, to secure their desire. Anything you ask God is possible. But you must pay the price in obedience, right-standing with God, tithing, praise and worship, regular study of God’s Word, heart felt and persistent prayer, whole hearted service, etc. Your trip to your breakthrough may suffer repeated abortions until you pay the price. There is a price to be paid for God to use you these last days. Many people in positions today are irrelevant in God’s plan. They have no part to play in it because God has rejected them like king Saul. Those who cannot pay the price may not enter Heaven. Make up your mind today. You can be part of the relevant few. Wait and be endued with fire from God.
ACTIONPOINT
Heaven cannot move without consulting some people, while Heaven is moving without some others knowing it. Ask that you will be part of God's last days move
